It starts tonight. Anybody else tuning in? Hopefully it's as good as last season.

Definetly am. Last year was great and I expect more of the same. I'm really loving UFC as of late.

Good season opener. Hughes and Franklin seem like they will make good coaches this season.
The fact that 2 people quit(I consider what Kenny did quiting) really pisses me off though. Dana put it perfectly when he said they "pussied out." It sucks for all the applicants who got turned down to be on the show that 2 people who got accepted quit after a few days.
Can't wait for next week. I'm interested to see who will be the first few picks Hughes and Franklin make. Last season the biggest stars were picked towards the top(Forrest, Bonnar, Leben, Diego, and Koscheck). It'll be interesting to see if the same thing happens this season.

Where the hell did Dana find these pussies? If Rich F'n Franklin told me to drop 20 lbs then I'm going to drop 20lbs. I can't believe Kenny had the nerve to talk about fighting and being a warrior after quitting. Who goes into a competition like that 20lbs over weight anyway? Dana also pointed out that guy who is like 25lbs over. That's ridiculous. Bah!

The guy he pointed to though is one of the favorites to win the welterweight contract, Joe Stevenson. Apparently he's a pretty decent fighter. But yeah, he shouldn't be 20 pounds over weight right now.
I agree with what you said about Kenny. How the f*ck can he say he could beat everyone on the show, after he gave up and quit instead of dropping 5 more pounds, which shouldn't be that hard?

That was rediclous. After he lost like 15 pounds then he couldn't finish out the last 5? What a punk. And I can't believe that other kid who blamed his quitting on the camera's, which he knew would be there before he entered this. And I can see that black guy who brags all the time getting on my nerves badly by week 3. Wish I knew names, but it's still early lol.

He may be geting on your nerves, but I wanted somebody to destroy Leben the fist night of TUF and now I'm a big fan. Who knows? Maybe I'll end up liking that guy too.
So far it seems like Jorge is a pretty cool dude. Dana mentioned that he may be one of the weakest welterweights though, so who knows how well he fights. I was just impressed he was so helpful with Kenny and didn't flip out like I would have after hearing that he was just giving up.

Yeah me too. They all tried to help and he waisted their time and energy. I'm liking the smaller guy who was commented as "this seasons Diego" after he held the wall sit for 5 minutes. That was awesome.

It was a pretty decent start, my favorite so far is the level headed african american guy (the older one) as he wasnt cocky, and also was the only one who didnt get really messed up the first day of fighting. I also thought that Kennys pick for his opponent (forget his name) seems like a pretty cool dude as well
I hope the season finale is as good as last years, and id love to see the Bonnar vs Griffin rematch as the main event of the Live Finale.

It's too early for me to be picking favorites got to see some fighting first. I'd like to point out while I do believe that both men pussied out, that last 5lbs is the toughest to lose, none the less he still quit so screw him.

The Show isnt over but so far its been impressive, it was cool to see Luke get picked last and then be THE MAN in the challenge. Also Melvin getting called out (and so far punked out in the cage) is awesome, so far he hasnt done anything to back up his claims in the ring...still one round left though

Yes Indeed, Melvin got PUNKED out...maybe he just froze, but he totally did NOTHING in that fight and after all the big talk i was literally laughing at him in the ring. Josh did pretty good with his takedowns and gaurds, but he couldnt really get any submissions in to win the fight. However since he had Melvin down most of the fight, he really didnt have to try and submit him
Really good fight though, itll be intresting to see if the Heavyweights can top it (doubtful...)

Really good fight indeed, and early on Melvin did the one thing that he impressed me with...his reversals. He was quick in his counters and had some pretty roll throughs, but other than that Josh took all three rounds easy. I'm liking Josh so far, he showed a lot of power and some mat skill. Glad to see Melvin get punked. Is that new guy huge or what?

Luke getting picked last was bullsh*t. He seems like one of the better welterweights.
Solid fight this week. Can't wait to see the heavyweights next week.
