Nate Webb vs. Michael Shane vs. Adam Flash
Good fun little opener. Good timeframe, and pretty cool wrestling. Shane looked really good here. Flash is pretty darn green, and i LOVE Nate Webb. Good stuff.
Lacey vs. Mschief
Good short match. Great submissions and near falls here. Best women's match i've seen in a LONG time.
Roderick "Backbreaker Bear" Strong vs. Jimmy Jacobs
What a MATCH! Very fun match thats easily my favorite to this point. Does Strong get better by the second? Amazing! Both guys look great, but Strong is one of my favorites right now.
Delirious vs. Nigel McGuiness
Decent match, nothing special. Don't get me wrong they did some good chain stuff with some good Delirious comedy, but i wasn't that drawn to it. It seemed to drag a bit, and Nigel bored me a bit here unusually.
Emil Stochi vs. Matt Sydal
Good fun little match, although Sydal was very quiet. Sydal overworked the arm a bit and slowed up too much, but Stochi impressed me alot here. My first time seeing him, and he was REALLY crisp. I expected a bit more, but it was still good.
Jerry Lynn vs. BJ Whitmer
Talk about expecting more, this got lost a few times. Good technical stuff and a cool brawl, and they mixed it up well, but i just expected more. They had some nice work but as i said kinda stood around a few times and got lost. I'm indifferent to this one, so maybe i should watch it again.
Collyer vs. Cannon
I hate Collyer. I hate Cannon. Collyer bores me to death. Cannon bores me to death. Safe to say i fast forwarded this one quickly.
Danny Daniels vs. Mark Wolf
Nothing special, and this bored me. Daniels tried and i like him more each match, but Wolf sucked and i almost fell asleep here.
Still to come: The infamous Styles/B-Boy bout and some hardcore match with XPW guys lol.
So far this show hasn't been that great. Strong/Jacobs stole the show, and the 3 way and Stochi/Sydal were both very solid. Otherwise, this show isn't near the leval of it's hype. I hope Styles/B-Boy delivers for me.

Good stuff. Tough to beleive that Flash has been wrestling close to 13 years isn't it? I don't think its that hes green i think its cause he sucks. 13 years and still green means you suck in my book.

Still to come: The infamous Styles/B-Boy bout and some hardcore match with XPW guys lol. Other than there being no XPW guys anywhere on this card, good call. I'll definitely be interested to see what you think of the B-Boy/Styles match. I honestly can't remember what I thought of it personally, I just know that Kev despises it. LOL

AJ put in a good effort but there was no carrying the lazy B-Boy on this day in sports history.

"Other than there being no XPW guys anywhere on this card, good call."
Yeah it was more like CZW/IWA guys, but i don't like any of them (with small excpetion to JC Bailey) at all.
Anyway i finished the show.
AJ Styles vs. B-Boy
OH MY! How wrong was Kev here? Pretty darn wrong in my book. And i know this is gonna lead to MAJOR discussion, but i have this as a distant MOTYC. Just everything clicked for me in every way possible. B-Boy was FAR from lazy here man, it seems to me he was on top of his game. Not to mention how well Styles did. B-Boy came with alot of Stiffness that Styles took very well, and alot of high impact suplexes and such that came off NICE. Good crowd here, and they had some very good early sequences that got me hyped. Where do you get the lazyness from Kev? B-Boy did just as much here and as well, if not more than Styles (including the SICKKK facewash in the corner). Anyway, this is the MOTN and a MOTYC, so i think Kev was on the chronic while watching this. Let the debate begin.
Hardcore- Wifebeater and Corpral Robinson vs. JC Bailey and Necro Butcher
Good for what it was. Fun hardcore brutality that had crazy shots and blood.
Overall this show was a step down from One more Time, yet is was decent all together. Jacobs/Strong and Styles/B-Boy RULED, and the 3 way and Stochi/Sydal were cool as well. 6 out of 10, as alot of the matches happened to be off, but some were VERY worth while.

If you call standing around and letting your opponent do all the work "On their game" then so be it. The only discussion you will get from me is that B-Boy is a lazy wrestler who when motivated can put on a good match. He is a good striker and when Motivated is exciting to watch. He was not motivated in this match and IMO took the match off and it was a HUGE disappointment to me.

I really didn't catch him standing around at all. Maybe it's just me but I thought both men hit alot of Crisp offense in different styles, and captivated the crowd with nice strikes. That to me, is a very good match. I ever was looking for B-Boy to be lazy and stand around, and he just didnt. Watch it again if you wish, and maybe you'll like it more. I just flat out didn't see what you saw, not even once.

All right, I rarely do this but I went back and watched the match over again as well. I will say that I wouldn't call it one of the top 5 matches for either guy or anything, but by no means would I consider it even close to as bad as Kev makes it out to be. I didn't think either guy was really "off," but I don't think they meshed as well together as would have been expected based on the two of them. There's my opinion, I still enjoyed the match.

Well put Volt. So far my IWA MS ventures are this way, similar to how Kev ranks the ROH shows.
1. One More Time 2. April Bloodshowers
I'm thinking Simply the Best will take number 1. I know the list is small thus far but i plan on seeing alot more IWA MS this year, including the TPI.

Looks very good. Whitmer/Sydal, Webb/Shane, and STYLES/HERO look like very nice support to the Jacobs/Shelley series. Would you say the show is as good as it looks? (all sales attempts aside, just from a fan standpoint ;D)

haha, yes....I honestly did really enjoy that show as a whole. Hero vs. Styles is worth the $7 it would cost ya itself, and I think looking at the rest of the card you can tell that's not all that's good on the show. That and the Stylin' & Profilin' show from the same weekend were really good.
