I went to see Kill Bill Vol 2 today (which was great) and saw a preview for the movie "Hero" starring Jet-Li. WOW this looks great. Very "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Anyone else looking forward to this?

I've seen it already! This movie came out a few years ago and was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars (don't remember the year). This is just its wide release for North America.
I'm thinking it will get a lot of Crouching Tiger comparisons, but it's different. I really like the color symbolism and choreography, some of the best I've seen in a film. It's very visually pleasing...the storyline is not the deepest.
This one was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards too, but it lost to Infernal Affairs (which deservedly won).

Not quite (unless you go to an Asian video store). This movie was circulated throughout various Asian American enclaves and online shops for a while before Miramax got it.

It looks like an interesting movie, but I'm not sure about watching it.
I attempted to watch "Crouching Tiger" last year but couldn't sit through it.
