If Steve Martin gets his own thread then so does the man they call JACK BLACK. This thread is to appreciate his greatness. Whether you want to discuss his fantastic job as a record store clerk in High Fidelity, his more high profile roles in movies like Saving Silverman, Orange County, Shallow Hal or School of Rock or if you want to discuss his great band Tenacious D which has brought us such fantastic ballads as "Fuck Her Gently" this is the thread to appreciate Jack Black.

Jack Black is THE MAN! I've loved every movie of his that I've seen I think, particularly School of Rock. I also liked High Fidelity a lot more than I expected I would. My dad owns the DVD but I was bored after school one time so I sat down and watched it myself. lol

But he's been in a ton of other stuff as well: imdb.com/name/nm0085312

I recommend checking out his unreleased TV show Heat Vision and Jack. There was only 1 episode, but Ben Stiller directed it. Jack Black plays the main character (a super smart astronaut on the run), and he travels with a talking motorcycle voiced by Owen Wilson. It's a weird concept, but it's pretty funny.

From IMDB-
Bio-Dome (1996) .... Tenacious D
Hey! I remember their little cameo in that. Best part of the whole movie! lol!
I appreciate Jack Black. He even made that unfortunately dreadful show on FOX, Cracking Up, funny with his one appearance.
