Me thinks we need to get the Sports section off and running. Any sports fans on the board? Here is a mock draft from CBSsportsline.com for the upcoming NFL Draft:
As a Falcons fan I would love to see them take Roy Williams or DeAngelo Hall over the DL that they have them taking in the Mock Draft.
1. San Diego, Eli Manning, QB, Mississippi: Still having reservations about this one. Manning is plenty talented, but Marty Schottenheimer doesn't like to pick quarterbacks in the first round. A trade is still a possibility. Big decision here. The last two big-time quarterbacks that came to America's Finest City were Cryin' Leaf and Drew Brees.
2. Oakland, Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Pittsburgh: Raiders are thinking seriously about Robert Gallery, but they address receiver first.
3. Arizona, Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Miami (Ohio): Arizona is a black hole for quarterbacks, but Dennis Green has to make a splash. Roethlisberger is big and will have a young receiving corps. How hard will it be to progress, however, spending Sundays on your back?
4. New York Giants, Robert Gallery, OT, Iowa: Maybe the most talented player in the draft. Getting a dominant tackle can turn around an entire offense. Kerry Collins is only 31, but look what happened to St. Louis when it drafted Orlando Pace.
5. Washington, Tommie Harris, DT, Oklahoma: Joe Gibbs is no dummy. Harris has shot up the board lately because of favorable Pro Day results. He can blow up the line on any given play.
6. Detroit, Kellen Winslow, Jr., TE, Miami (Fla.): Joey Harrington needs help. Detroit needs some buzz. Steve Mariucci needs to stay employed. Throw Charles Rogers in the mix and there are the early signs of a new set of triplets ala vintage Cowboys.
7. Cleveland, Mike Williams, WR, USC: A bit of a reach perhaps, but Jeff Garcia is going to need someone to throw to.
8. Atlanta, Vince Wilfork, DT, Miami: The Jim Mora Jr. staff will build around this guy. Michael Vick is going to be a carnival act unless the defense gets better.
9. Jacksonville, Kenechi Udeze, DE, USC: The best guy off the edge in the draft. A huge reason why the Trojans will struggle to repeat.
10. Houston, Sean Taylor, S, Miami: There was no better hitter in the back four the last two years in college football. Taylor is a Ronnie Lott type.
11. Pittsburgh, Philip Rivers, QB, North Carolina State: Tommy Maddox in the last year of his contract. Charlie Batch is lucky to have a job in the league. Remember all the questions about Rivers' mechanics? He might become the best quarterback on the Pittsburgh roster the day he's drafted.
12. New York Jets, DeAngelo Hall, CB, Virginia Tech: Hall will come in handy against Bledsoe and Brady.
13. Buffalo, Roy Williams, WR, Texas: Just ran a 4.37 40 at a recent workout. Great body, great attitude, great hands. Where's the downside?
14. Chicago, Randy Starks, DT, Maryland: The offensive line was addressed with the acquisition of John Tait. Starks anchors the D-line. There's no better place to start than from the inside out.
15. Tampa Bay, Shawn Andrews, OT, Arkansas: Franchise O-lineman who can be built around. Bucs need a lot more than this, however.
16. San Francisco, Reggie Williams, WR, Washington: A no-brainer with T.O. and Tai Streets gone via free agency. Makes all the tough catches and dominates smaller corners.
17. Cincinnati, Will Poole, CB, USC: This is the shutdown corner Marvin Lewis covets.
18. New Orleans, Chris Gamble, CB, Ohio State: Tremendous value for the Saints. Gamble also caught passes and returned punts for the Buckeyes.
19. Minnesota, Will Smith, DE, Ohio State: With the addition of Antoine Winfield, defensive line becomes the top priority.
20. Miami, Jacob Rogers, OT, USC: Not a sexy pick but the Fish need someone to protect A.J. Feeley.
21. New England, Jonathan Vilma, LB, Miami: Nothing wrong with getting younger at linebacker. Pats have four picks in the first two rounds.
22. Dallas, Steven Jackson, RB, Oregon State: Why get Drew Henson if you're not going to put good people around him? The Cowboys running game is a joke. Jackson had block, run and catch.
23. Seattle, Darnell Dockett, DT, Florida State: Great value here. Dockett is one of FSU's best in the D-line. You know you're getting a dedicated talent.
24. Denver, Ben Watson, TE, Georgia: Watson will pick up the torch dropped by Shannon Sharpe once he retires. Watson's recent workouts might force Florida's Ben Troupe to the second round.
25. Green Bay, Derrick Strait, CB, Oklahoma: Don't believe the hype about the Packers picking a successor to Favre here. The secondary has struggled mightily. Strait has the ability to shut down half the field.
26. St. Louis, Rashaun Woods, WR, Oklahoma State: It's either Woods or Wisconsin's Lee Evans for the Rams. Woods has less of a health history. Mike Martz will send a limo to the airport to pick up this latest weapon for his offense.
27. Tennessee, Antwan Odom, DE, Alabama: This is a slam dunk, which is something Odom better be able to do in pick-up hoops to match "The Freak's" athleticism.
28. Philadelphia, Dunta Robinson, CB, South Carolina: Got to be a corner for the Eagles, right? Troy Vincent and Bobby Taylor are gone.
29. Indianapolis Matt Ware, CB, UCLA: OK, it's a reach but the Colts want secondary help. They might have to trade up to get Strait.
30. Kansas City, Igor Olshanksy, DT, Oregon: If this pick isn't defensive, GM Carl Peterson should be barred from the war room forever. Chiefs have done little in the offseason to upgrade a horrible defense.
31. Carolina, Lee Evans, WR, Wisconsin: Great final season and dogged rehab from a knee injury has pushed this lanky receiver into the first round. Carolina will look at his dedication, not his health issues.
32. New England, Greg Jones, RB, Florida State: Patriots have a great first round getting Vilma early and the talented Jones late to fill the void left by Antowain Smith.
2. Oakland, Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Pittsburgh: Raiders are thinking seriously about Robert Gallery, but they address receiver first.
