Anyone else buy the Roy Jones, Jr -vs- Antonio Tarver rematch last night?
I didn't get the first fight because I didn't expect much from it. According to many experts, in the first fight Tarver dominated but coasted the last few rounds. Jones was able to come back and get a close decision.
Jones used his weight as an excuse claiming he was weak from dropping too much weight too quickly. I figured he would destroy Tarver this time around but bought it any way.
Tarver knocked Jones out in the second round. It was a beautiful left that put Jones almost out of the ring. If I recall correctly, this was the second time Jones has gone down in his professional career.
Congrats to Tarver.

Right, it was his second loss. In fact, it's really his first legit loss. His first came when he was DQ'd for hitting his opponent on the mat.
