Puroresupower.com is reporting that Sakuraba cancelled off the show and they are looking for someone to replace him.

Alright another MMA fan on the board! That card looks pretty damn good. I'm almost glad in a way that Sak isn't fighting Silva as I'm almost positive Silva would have beaten him anyway. I kinda doubt I'll see this card due to my current funding situation, but it looks good anyway.

Silva probably would of beat him but I love Sakuraba and still wanted to see him. Sakuraba is great and I love him too, but he's almost like watching Ken Shamrock currently in that you know he's a total bad ass, but he's not exactly going to dethrone any champs. Silva would have most likely walked all over him. I would crap my pants if PRIDE had the balls to sign Randy Couture as the last minute replacement. Just imagine it even if it was non-title.

Very true his best days are behind him so better book him with old rivals who best days are behind them and watch them get their asses kicked a la Shamrock vs. Kimo

The most recent Shamrock fight I've seen was his bout versus Ortiz and wow. He may have gotten his butt handed to him 94 different ways, but I was blown away that he lasted the entire fight. Nothing short of a school bus could have taken him out that night.

Him verus Kimo is very quick and fun to watch. I'm not sure but I think it might be on my martial arts tape on my site, you could check it out.

Sakuraba replacement has been named

Should be interesting Hunt knows how to fight standing up but in the end he doesn't stand much chance against Silva

Mark Hunt? I think Sak would have had a better chance. Who knows, maybe he'll shock the world.

The results of the show are along with my thoughts on the fights:
-Ikuhisa Minowa def. Stefan Leko via Submission (heel hook) in Round 1. Wow this one was quick Minowa just showed him up
-Choi Mu Bae def. Giant Silva via Submission (choke) in Round 1. Gaint Silva is deffinently getting better but he still isn't up to par with the fighters in PRIDE
-Ryan Gracie def. Yoji Anjo via Submission (armbar) in Round 1. Gracie made an ass out of himself when he got into arguments with the ref and pushed him around while the ref tried to restart them in the center of the ring
-Ryo Chonan def. Anderson Silva via Submission (heel hook) in Round 3. Chonan did one of the slickest moves I've ever seen when he lunged at Silva's legs with his own and leg scissored him to the ground and right into the heel hook
-Makoto Takimoto def. Henry Miller via Decision. To be honest I don't remember this fight
-Rulon Gardner def. Hidehiko Yoshida via Decision. An awesome fight these two showed why they are both Olympic Gld Medalist in their sports, a great fight I hope Gardner returns
-Mirko CroCop def. Kevin Randleman via Submission (choke) in Round 1. WOW, I want one more fight between these two the first one ended in a surprise knockout this one ended with Cro Cop using a choke a choke another surprise.
-Dan Henderson def. Yuki Kondo via Decision. Another awesome fight I hope see both these guys in the PRIDE GP this year
-Takanori Gomi def. Jens Pulver via KO (punch) in Round 1. Who would of thought that the boxer would get KO'ed
-Mark Hunt def. Vanderlei Silva via Decision. Holy sh*t Silva loses his first PRIDE fight to Mark Hunt who would of guessed it. Hunt was so impressive in this fight it could of gone ethier way
-Emelianenko Fedor def. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira via Decision. A great main event, these two fight hard right up until the very end, these two big men move likw lightweights.
