I have two #1s and two #2s in the Final Four, not all that original I guess. I've got Illinois over Wake Forest, and UNC over Kentucky, then Illinois over UNC in the finals. Now, mind you, I don't follow college basketball much at ALL.

One of mine...Bama...is already gone. But a lot of the 45 people in my bracket suprisingly had them so it doesn't kill me at all. I have UNC over Duke, and then UNC beating Wake Forest in the Final game.
So how'd everyone do so far? Today was my worst first day record ever, but still not a bad one overall. 10-6 overall, with potential as I didn't lose any really key teams outside of Bama.

I am an SEC fan because I am a UGA fan and the SEC was way down this year. I did pick Bama to go to the Sweet Sixteen, but right now that's my worst loss. Also, lost UCLA, LSU, and Pitt- but I had all of them losing in the round of 32 anyway. My Final Eight is: Illinois/Arizona Wake/Louisville Duke/Kentucky UNC/Kansas

Bama is just a defensive team who had a fairly easy route IMO, thats why I went with them. I think the Illinois pick is gonna screw you guys though. Great teams all year that are #1 seeds almost never win it, and the tourney is build for middle seeds with a strong deep lineups (ala Syracuse, Uconn, Wake). I have them going down in the sweet 16, but we'll see.

So far I've got 23 right, 5 wrong. Syracuse losing is my worst loss as they're the only of the 5 wrong that I had winning in the second round, although no further so it's not a huge problem for me. We should have some kind of scoring thing to see who does best of us. Like 1 point for all first round correct picks, 2 for upsets, 2 for second round wins, 3 for upsets, etc...or something.

The second round really hurt me. First round I went 25-7 on predictions, and in the second round I did just 9-7.

My bracket needs to burn. Today was a hell of a bracket buster. West Virginia hurt me, I had Wake in the finals. Cuse and GT are both down, so I need to die. Anyway, everyone in my poll got hurt today so if UNC wins I still got a small shot at winning it all. The sweet 16 needs to indeed be sweet for me.
