1. Indianapolis 6-0
A dominant offense that has yet to be stopped for 4 full quarters. Peyton is in a groove and they have more weopons than anyone.
2. Chicago 6-0
After the Arizona win, they show that they can win any way possible, and have a championship defense. If Rex bounces back, they still have a small chance to go unbeaten. They won't, but they can.
3. New England 5-1
All they do is win, no matter who they have or who they play. Will always be championship material as long as they have Brady.
4. New Orleans 5-1
The running game is as good as ever, Brees is a leader and the whole program looks ready. Beating both ATL and Phi proves that.
5. New York Giants 4-2
It's time to consider them a really good team with Eli at the helm. The offense is at it's best, and they are the best 4th quarter team in football.
6. Seattle 4-2
A very weak showing in an easier game with Minnesota, and the loss of their QB adds to their issues. A top NFC team that looks ready to pack it up until Alexander and Hasselbeck get back.
7. St. Louis 4-2 (I think)
One of the best offenses in the league and doesn't get much press. Got some tough wins and came within an inch of beating a good Seattle team a few weeks ago. The next few weeks may make or break them.
8. Philly 4-3
Yeah, they have 3 losses and looked really weak in losing to the Bucs, but they did come back and they still have a potential MVP at QB. It's how they bounce back that may make them one of the NFC's best.
9. Cincy 4-2
Bounced back from two straight losses with a good win at a solid Carolina team. Palmer still isnt playing his best, but now that Henry is back and the D is more healthy they are still the team to beat in that division until the Steelers do what they are capable of.
10. Baltimore 4-2 (5)
The leagues 2nd best D, but the offense is struggling and WR's aren't doing enough. McNair is the key to this teams playoff hopes.
Just outside:
ATL
Denver
Team Notes:
Pittsburgh: I still think they are going to the playoffs. Their schedule is really hard and we've had all kinds of injury issues, but Ben is finally playing GREAT football. If he can come back from this injury, we can win out in the division and have a shot.
Carolina/Jax- very talented, but too inconsistant in their identities from week to week.
ATL- watch out, Vick is getting better in the air and they could be a force to be dealt with.
