Thought this would be a solid match-up going in given the two teams involved.. Virginia Tech absolutely dominated the first half and was up 21-3 so at this point most people probably quit watching. But Georgia came out with a lot of heart and defensive intensity in the second half and scored 28 unanswered points to win 31-24. Definitely a big win for Georgia as they struggled this year losing a couple of games that they should have won but came up big down the stretch beating three straight ranked opponents (Auburn, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech) for the first time in school history. A couple of seniors had big games (Tony Taylor and Paul Oliver) and some of the youngsters (Stafford and Evans) had some big plays. I definitely liked what Mike Bobo did in his first game as offensive coordinator and especially since it was going against the nations number one defense. Hopefully, things will look back up for Georgia next year so they can get back in the Top 10.

Seriously, shut up. I turned it off after the first half and look what happens. But I think both UGA and V-Tech will be better next year.
