I decided to go back and watch this show again and post my review here. I remember when I watched it the first time being pretty dissapointed with the show so I wanted to see if maybe my thoughts would now change.
Showcase Card:
The Outkast Killaz vs Slyk Wagner Brown & April Hunter
Well this match was ok! Nothing great here but Slyk and the Killaz showed some potential in the match. I am definitely not an April Hunter fan and I was glad to see the crowd rip into her some here
Overall nothing special at all about this match but it was not terrible! *1/2
Angeldust vs Joey Matthews
What the hell was this? This match was horrible! Several and I mean several blown spots and just an overall boring match! Both men are capable of much better and this match should have been left off the video. *
Four Corners Survival Match:
Jimmy Jacobs vs Alex Shelly vs Josh Daniels vs Roderick Strong
Now this is more like it! This match was terrific and all 4 men looked great! Alex Shelly is the next breakout star for ROH IMO and Daniels and Strong looked awesome here. Jacobs looked solid and was definiteley the crowd favorite! A great closing sequence between the 4 and just a really fun match that you should definitely check out! ***1/2
Main Card:
BJ Whitmer vs Jimmy Rave
This was a Field Of Honor match. I am a big fan of both of these guys and was really looking forward to this match. Good match here with both men looking strong. Nothing really great about the match but still very solid and to the point! I love when Rave does the running shining Wizard! Whitmer is a horse! **1/2
Xavier vs John Walters
This was another Field Of Honor Match. This was the first meeting every between the two I believe. This was a highly competitive match between 2 great workers. Xavier hit an awesome 450 to the outside on Walters early on in the match. The finish of this match took it down a notch for me but I am glad with what it all lead to. Another very solid match! **1/2
Teddy Hart vs TJ Wilson
Everyones favorite prick Teddy Hart in his ROH debut! This was a pretty enjoyable match but definitely did not showcase Teddy Hart for how good he really is. TJ looked really good in this match and showed a ton of potential. Strong match and a good finish. Just like the previous 2 matches it was an above average match but still nothing great. **1/2
