I didnt know if I should just put this in Kev's thread or do my own, so whatever. This was a really great show, and I think I dug this alot more than Kev did. Maybe even one of my favorites overall, everything just clicked.
Acid vs. Delirious vs. Sydal vs. Steel was a FUN opener. Sydal was looking great here, and just like every ROH 4 way everyone shined and hit some nice innovation. When Acid hit that reverse rana on Sydal and he landed SPLAT on his head, it was the scariest moment i've seen in wrestling this year! Fun match though.
Williams vs. Shelley- Just watch this, nothing I can say will do it justice. Kev about covered it here, and this even beat their last match. Amazing.
Romero/Ki vs. Maff/Whitmer- worst MOTN for me. Just didnt click. Romero is way better in singles action, Ki is way better in singles action, and Whitmer sucks. Put the peaces together LOL.
Collyer vs. Daniels was very good. I loved this alot. Just had a great pace to it and both men were on their game the whole time. Collyer is a superstar, plain and simple.
Gen Next vs. Walters/Stryker/Jacobs was mad fun, and one of my favorites on this night. Walters really shined again, as did Aries. Roderick Strong is a BEAR, a big scary stiff one LOL. He killed Jacobs several times here. RIP Jimmy. Nonstop action with SEVERAL fun spots.
Joe vs. Cide was very good, and I think the best of their four matches. Great blowoff to the fued, and Cide went down looking like a champ anyway. Mad stiffness here, and just a very cool hard hitting match. Awesome fued.
SCS vs. Briscoes was fun throughout. Good psychology by the Briscoes, and watching the story play out here was pretty fun to see. Well paced and mixed. I liked the one from Stage 2 better, but this was good as well.
Overall this show ruled, both in ring and storyline perspective. Gen Next/SCS/Rottweilers all built themselves as killers here and every single match but one was either good/great. One of my favorites this year.
1. Reborn: Stage 2
2. Generation Next
3. DBD 2 part 1
4. Survival of the Fittest
5. Reborn: Stage 1
6. Reborn: Completion
