I've watched all of this except for the Main Event so far so this review is going to suck since it's been a while since I watched the first half of the show....
Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Sal Rinuaro & Tony Mamaluke vs. Kid Mikaze & Jason Blade
This was good for what it was and it was a match to put over the Briscoes. They looked really good here and I look forward to seeing their future ROH stuff. It's a shame SalMaluke got squashed here but with Tony going to ECW it makes sense. I just hope ROH finds a spot for Sal as he is a fantastic talent. Maybe a tag-team with Seth DeLay.
Adam Pearce vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jay Fury vs. Azrieal (Four Corner Survival)
Decent but not a very memorable match. Azrieal looked really bad for the second straight show and cemented his way out of ROH here.
Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal (Grudge Match)
This was a solid match but didn't really work as a Grudge match due to Jay Lethal working face for the second part of the match. Man, he had a great heel turn and then he just sucked as a heel. Definitely glad that he was given a break from ROH as his character just took a turn for the worse.
Christopher Daniels vs. BJ Whitmer (Grudge Match)
This was a short match which spilled outside and then became a fucking awesome CZW invasion. All the CZW stuff has just been fantastic so far. Can't wait til I start to see the matches take place.
Homicide vs. Colt Cabana (Ghetto Fight)
This was a good brawl and did a lot to further the fued and put Cabana over as one tough (and stupid) sonofabitch who will do anything in his power to try to stand up to Homicide even if Homicide kicks his ass EVERY SINGLE TIME they wrestle.
Bryan Danielson vs. Jimmy Rave (ROH World Title Match)
Great match. That's about all I need to say here.
Ricky Reyes vs. Jack Evans (Rottweilers vs. Generation Next)
This was disappointing but what can you expect as Jack basically got off a plane from Japan, took a cab from the airport and went to the ring. And based on his style, he usually takes several hours doing stretching exercises to get ready for his matches. That being said, if you watch this match then you will witness Jack Evans crash and burn when he does a sick, sick, sick, sick, sick dive and lands on the back of his fucking neck. And then Ricky Reyes takes him in the ring and powerbombs him THREE TIMES!
Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal (ROH Tag Team Title Match)
This was a really fun Main Event with lots of action. Definitely one of the better tag-team matches ROH has seen recently.
Verdict:
Not a great review as a lot of this stuff I watched and was not able to type up my thoughts until later. Overall this is a really solid show with a solid but unspectacular undercard and two top notch Main Events. Buy this one during a sale for Danielson/Rave and Aries/Strong vs AJ/Sydal.
