DVD starts with Bryan Danielson signing a contract and becoming the head trainer for ROH. Danielson then tells Cary Silkin that this means that he pretty much owns the place now.
Christopher Daniels vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Really good opener because Daniels abandoned his generic match style he's been using for the last 12 months and wrestled more to Claudio's style. Surprisingly good opener and a great way to start the show.
Post match Daniels gets on the mic and talks about how this show is part of the "Milestone Series" and says that he hasn't shaken anyone's hand post-match in the first 100 shows, he says that tonight he is going to start a new milestone. He says that he now respects ROH as a company and respects Claudio and puts him over as the future of the company and shakes his hand.
Jimmy Yang w/Bruce Leroy vs. Delirious vs. Jimmy Rave w/Pricne Nana and Daizee Haze vs. Jimmy Jacobs w/A Picture of Lacey (Four Corner Survival)
This was decent. Not at the level of the star studded 4-ways but this was good enough. Pretty good comedy involving Jacobs in this one as Lacey did not accompany him to ringside but he brought out a huge picture of her instead and put it in his corner.
ROH Tag-Team Title Match: Austin Aries/Roderick Strong (c) vs Homicide/Ricky Reyes
Solid tag-title match. Nothing great here, just good solid wrestling.
ROH Title Match: Bryan Danielson vs Colt Cabana
Solid stuff while it lasted with Colt on the offensive for the majority of the first 5 minutes going for lots of roll-ups and keeping Danielson off balance. Danielson then surprises Cabana with a roll-up for a shockingly quick victory at the 6 minute mark!
Derrick Dempsey vs Pelle Primeau
This was solid for a students match. I think Dempsey's gonna be really good with some seasoning.
Post-Match Bryan Danielson comes out and cuts a 10 minute promo where he continously OWNS the CZW fans (who have their own bleachers set up for the Main Event) and has the ROH fans eating out of the palm of his hands. Danielson is easily the best mic guy ROH has right now. Danielson then asks Green Lantern Fan how long his match was and then says that since it was so short that he's going to challenge someone else who has won tonight. Christopher Daniels...no I've already beat him! Austin Aries...no I've already beat him!...Roderick Strong...no I've already beat him 3 times!! Delirious! Out comes Delirious and he gets on the mic and cuts a gibberish promo and then breaks into Dragon's theme song "Final Countdown" before Danielson pimp slaps him and we are on!
ROH Title Match: Bryan Danielson (c) vs Delirious
Really good stuff here with Danielson owning Delirious at the beginning only to have Delirious come back for several near falls and a near submission. Delirious even gives Danielson an airplane spin as a taste of his own medicine. It breaks down on the outside as Delirious hits a suicide dive but Danielson gains the advantage and does an airplane spin on the outside but stops and bashes Delirious right into the ringpost head first. Danielson tears open the mask and Delirious is wearing the crimson mask! Back into the ring and Danielson finishes off Delirious shortly thereafter via referee stoppage. Really great 20 minute sequence including the Danielson pre-match promo.
AJ Styles & Matt Sydal vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe
This was a really fun match. It had it's peaks and valleys but it ended on a high note and that's what is needed in a wrestling match. Sydal looked great and The Brisoces looked fantastic at the end of the match hitting an unbelieveable unconventional springboard doomsday device (different from the one they normally use) and a sweet spike Jay Driller.
Jim Cornette and John Zandig have a verbal debate...which leads to....
Samoa Joe, Adam Pearce, & BJ Whitmer vs. Chris Hero, Necro Butcher, & Super Dragon (ROH vs. CZW)
Really great sprawling brawl here. Pearce bleeds buckets for ROH, BJ Whitmer DIES on an insane Psycho Driver from the ring apron thru a table at ringside (from this point he stays on the floor until he is taken from the ring with the ROH guys using a table as a stretcher) and Joe tries to stand tall. Zandig interfers at the end, Claudio turns on ROH which leads to Claudio and Hero doubleteaming Pearce for the finish. Great Main Event with a great atmosphere.
Post match Colt Cabana cuts a backstage promo saying how disapointed he was in his 4 minute loss to Bryan Danielson. Says he must have forgot how to wrestle over the last 8 months when he was fighting for his lift. Says he will work his way up from the bottom of the card to get a rematch.
Adam Pearce's head is shown in all it's blood and gashing glory.
Verdict:
Top to bottom a really solid show. Lots of solid stuff (Daniels/Claudio standing out along with the tag-title match), some above average stuff (Danielson/Delirious, AJ/Sydal vs Briscoes) and a great Main Event. Definitely a keeper.
