Pre-show has Nigel McGuinness cutting a promo about his last match with Danielson and Adam Pearce cutting a promo asking for Homicide's help in the war with CZW.
At the beginning of the show the ring announcer reminds the fans of the Main Event, which is a dream partner tag-team pitting ROH champ Bryan Danielson against NWA champ Christian Cage. Their partners will be chosen from people on the card.
Matt Sydal vs. Jimmy Yang
Solid opener. Nothing great but a good solid match. Sydal really seems to be stepping it up a notch and it will be interesting to see how he does in terms of improvement and in terms of booking after his Dragon Gate tour (as this is his last match before the tours).
Delirious, Colt Cabana and Christopher Daniels are introduced for the next match. Christian Cage comes out and asks Colt Cabana to be his partner. Cabana accepts. Danielson then comes out and again does some fantastic mic work which ends with him asking Daniels to be his partner (after insulting him). Daniels accepts if Danielson promises him a rematch at the ROH title. Danielson says okay but only if they win.
Delirious vs. Nigel McGuiness vs. Kikutaro
Delirious sits in the ring during all of the Christian/Daniels/Cabana/Danielson mic work and remains there as Nigel and then Kikutaro are introduced. McGuinness attacks Kikutaru outside the ring and Delirious remains in his sitting pre-match position. McGuinness and Kikutaru back into the ring and the ref calls for the bell and Delirious goes nuts. That never gets old. Really great comedy match here with Nigel playing the straight guy as he just bullies Kikutaru around throughout the match. Delirious and Kikutaru have some fantastic comedy sequences as they have a dueling gibberish battle which leads to a Ebessan/Kamen slow motion rope running sequence which gets a "This Is Awesome" chant from the crowd. Just a really fun match that will bring a smile to your face.
Jimmy Rave & Alex Shelley vs. Homicide & Ricky Reyes
This was VERY enjoyable. A lot of fun. A little too much interference which eventually leads to a DQ.
Adam Pearce & B.J. Whitmer vs. Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli(ROH vs. CZW)
Good solid match/brawl but once again a little too much shenanigans in the match. It's okay to have every once in a while but when it's too matches in a row it takes away from the action.
Samoa Joe vs. Apocalypse
Good for what it was, which was an rohvideos.com match.
Mark Briscoe vs. Roderick Strong
Good, solid match.
Jay Briscoe vs. Austin Aries
Another good, solid match.
ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson & Christopher Daniels vs. NWA World Champion Christian Cage & Colt Cabana (Dream Partner Tag Team Match)
This was a good, fun match. But it would have probably been better served as a semi-main event rather than the Main Event for the show. I liked how Danielson played off of all the other guys in the ring and everyone did their part in the match. Good comedy early on with Daniels rolling thru a move and then yelling to the crowd "That's How I Roll", Cabana followed it up shortly with one of his own and then Christian brought his.
Verdict:
A solid night of wrestling but missing that one or two matches that really put this card over the top. Probably best to save this one for a freebie during a sale if you want to pick it up.
