Welp when I graduated and started going to college, I went to a community college nearby... And most of my friends from high school did too. The ones who DID go away came back for summer and stuff and we were still good friends.
I think for some people, though, they go to college and go through a lot of changes and just find they no longer have anything in common with their old friends. But, it doesn't always end up like that.
All I know is for me and most people I know, college is a hell of a lot more fun than high school. I had many HIJINKS as DJ Humpaholic when me and my friends did a radio show at college. And the times we decided we needed some classic college adventures and started trying to steal panties.... Then put them on our head with goggles and run around the common room, then hang them on a string... Money well spent!

This is kinda on-topic, so I graduated TODAY!!! Suckers. ;D In fact, the trip to Boston for the ROH show is a bit of a graduation celebration. Reality set in for me around 10 o'clock tonight. It's really weird knowing that once the summer ends I won't be going back to school. Also when the fall rolls around, the few people I have kept in touch with over the years (I've been home schooled since 2000) are all going off to college out of state. Of course I'll be getting a *real* job after my summer job is over and soon after that it's off to wrestling school, but geez, it seems like the real world just crept up on me!

Agreed on also getting my first real job after summer and having things creep up and hit you outta nowhere. Things always hit me a bit late, and i think they will this time too.
Volt- I'm gonna go on a limb and guess your going through this stuff with a GIRL...as i am also and that makes out situation more coincidental?
I'd love to go to a bigger college for the extra fun and hijinx, but since i dont think college is for me, and i have EXACT certain goals, CCAC seems perfect. On another related note, i just found out that about 5 of my HS friends are also going to the same CCAC, so i'll be seeing/talking to them a good bit!

Volt- I'm gonna go on a limb and guess your going through this stuff with a GIRL...as i am also and that makes out situation more coincidental? Hey, you're a regular Ms. Cleo!! In other words, yes. lol God damn, I don't think I even HAVE 5 good friends in school really. haha. I don't think anyone from my class is going to the same college as me, out of like 200 kids or whatever.

"Hey, you're a regular Ms. Cleo!! In other words, yes. lol" Just an intuition, seeing as how guys don't usually do that sort of stuff, and girls are way more dramatic about it "God damn, I don't think I even HAVE 5 good friends in school really. haha. I don't think anyone from my class is going to the same college as me, out of like 200 kids or whatever." 200 kids, geez. I go to a Christian school, and my class only has 35 kids. Why the lack of good friends man...just being careful, or do the people there tend to be fake? j/w -Jason Burke

Both I guess. Plus I suppose in some ways like with a smaller class, you probably tend to be closer with people...maybe.

Welp, Graduation has come and gone, and it hasn't even hit me yet. I graduated Friday, and suprisingly not a tear was shead by almost anyone. We were all too happy and excited to be sad i Guess. I did a little dance for Graduation when my name got called, so i got the MVP award from my friends ;D
Afterwards we all went out to eat and talked and took as many pics as possible, then went to our friends house, then went home at like 4 AM. A perfect great night with no fights or conflict, yet so historical.
I felt really bad when i read a letter my friend gave me earlier that night, telling me everything she was feeling and how happy she was that we were close, yet i was glad to know how she felt and i feel the same way.
There is soooo much senior trip stuff to discuss and so many emotions i've been up on lately, but i'll take it slow with these entry's.
Thoughts/Opinions?

Wooorrrddd. Congratulations man. Graduation is the 12th for me, only like 6 days of school left now. It's really crazy, and I wish it was just going to be a relaxing 6 days but of course we have to be loaded up to our necks in end-of-the-year work. Yeah, ummm......I don't know what else to say, but everyone visit my livejournal often and reply to everything! LOL www.livejournal.com/~710xxx

Nice plug lol. Yeah i love how you get all excited about leavin, and then teachers try and kill you one last time before your free lol. Enjoy the last 6 days man, because me graduating hasnt even hit me yet still!
But a few hours ago i just got word that my friend since 7th grade who knows more about me than anyone is leaving till December on Monday. This is like the worst news for me, considering he's the kind of person that could finish my sentances and always know what i'm thinking. This wont hit me for a while either, but when it does, it will hit HARD.
Anyone relate?

Hmm...to keep the update going, he left this morning. He did get to stop over last night for a few hours before he left, which i thought was awesome. My parents got real emotional as they are like kinda his parents too b/c of how close we are, and that had me suprised a bit. But i gave him a letter saying all i needed to say, and i talked to some other friends after he left to keep me sane lol.
More journal is on the way soon, seeing as how you guys can't live without it and look forward to it so much! ;D

You know it! Keep strong though, and although it sounds wrong...in a way try not to think about him being gone. At least not all the time, that might make ya go insane.

Doesn't sound wrong at all. In fact, thats what i've been doing to bide my time and stay cool. I often overanalyze and over think things, but i've handeled this well so far.

Going back on vacation to Myrtle beach, and i can't wait. I'm leaving tomarrow night, so i wont be here for awhile. If there's any listings or predictions you guys want me to do, i'll do them before i leave if you get them to me soon, and if not i'll do them when i get back. Anyway, i'll be gone for a week, and come back with several more joural type stories for yall to comment on I'm meeting my friend down there on Saturday afternoon so that should be crazy. Happy Posting guys, and i hope this board doesn't die without me LOL. Word of warning: last time i came back from Myrtle Beach i found out Jeff Hardy was having a ROH match and London signed with the WWE...so i hope it's not as bad this time around. -Jason Burke
