Movies are rated 1 thru 10. 1 being The Avengers and Batman and Robin. 10 being Shawshank Redempion, Memento, Almost Famous and Pulp Fiction.
Walk the Line
The second best movie I've seen this year. A great story and fantastic acting from Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon (yes, I was amazed too). Phoenix is probably the most underrated actor of his generation not named Billy Crudup. See this movie.
Rating: 9 out of 10
Fantastic Four
X-Men with bad acting
Rating: 3 out of 10
Dukes of Hazzard
Everything a Dukes of Hazzard should be. As long as you are watching this for rednecks, hotties and inappropriate comments then you will enjoy it.
Rating: 6 out of 10
The Island
Good premise, not so good of a movie.
Rating: 4 out of 10
In Good Company
Solid date movie. Decent story, decent acting. Scarlett Johansson has really blossomed into women hood well, she looks amazing in this movie.
Rating: 6 out of 10
Bad News Bears
Good for what it is. Same category as Dukes of Hazzard but not quite as good in my book although Billy Bob is a hoot.
Rating: 5 out of 10
Stealth
This was craptastical. Didn't make it thru the movie. But since it has Jessica Beil then it gets a couple of rating points.
Rating: 3 out of 10
Last Days
Horrible, horrible movie. Supposed to be a Kurt Cobain-esque movie about his Last Days but it just a guy stumbling around mumbling to himself (you have to turn on the subtitles to hear what he is mumbling). Avoid this.
Rating: 1 out of 10
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Not a great movie but a really fun popcorn action movie.
Rating: 6 out of 10
Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo
This is good for a few laughs but overall really bad. If you liked the first one then this one is not as good.
Rating: 2 out of 10
War of the Worlds
I usually really enjoy Tom Cruise movies. I usually really enjoy Steven Speilberg movies. Not this one. Just didn't like it, too much stuff that just wasn't realistic and made you say "I don't think so".
Rating: 4 out of 10
Murderball
Documentary about parapalegics who play rugby. Just an amazing story about these people and what they've been through and about how some of them are still hard asses. Good stuff if you are into documentaries.
Rating: 7 out of 10
The Interpreter
Solid movie if you like dramas and movies that are about political intrigue. Good stuff.
Rating: 7 out of 10
Elizabethtown
Another really good Cameron Crowe film. I thought there was great chemisty between Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. Overall a quirky but good film, if you liked Almost Famous then you will like this. Another really good date movie.
Rating: 7.5 out of 10
