KENTA vs. Juventud Guerrera- NOAH- 1/17/04
Pretty good match here. Wasn't as fast past as I expected but I enjoyed it alot. Highlight of the match was Juvi stealing KENTA's finishing sequence where KENTA peppers his opponent with kicks, punches and chops before going into the ropes to hit his flying knee. Great sequence except after Juvi hits the initial moves KENTA is the one who lands the knee. Overall fun match I'd give it ***.
Kaos vs. Justice Pain- JAPW- 2/28/04
I went into the match with an open mind. But good god, someone should EVICT Kaos from professional wrestling. He was HORRIBLE. He got blown up about 2 1/2 minutes in and was sucking wind on the mat and outside the ring for the rest of the match. Pain tried but to no avail. AND THEN Kaos picked up the victory. Good God someone revoke Kaos' wrestling license.
Homicide vs. Teddy Hart- JAPW- 2/28/04
Finally watched it. It was GREAT for what it was. Which was Homicide beating Teddy's ass from pillar to post. Teddy gets in VERY little offense. Cide hit some sick moves like his Tope Con Hilo, a piledriver on the steps of the gym and an exploder onto the ring barracade (which was inside the ring). Fun match.

He was okay. I couldn't really tell with how much Kaos was SUCKING wind. Pain didn't do anything bad in the match.

I thought Pain was BAD. Kaos wasn't good himself by any means, but Pain blew here as well. Just majorly boring stuff that was prolly the worst match on that show.
Cide/Hart was fun as ever. Cide killed Hart, and Hart's mini-fluerry at the end was cool. Cool match, sick heat.

He's bad now man. It hurts me too b/c i loved him as a main star in XPW, but thats all over now. His manager (SLG), his character, and music are all gone, and he was awful vs. Pain. I don't know about any of his other work though.

Kaos isn't THAT bad. I hope he continues to train at the Inoki Dojo and breaks the XPW stigma. There's room for improvement for sure, though.

Ultimate X2: Low-Ki vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Sabin vs. Michael Shane- NWA-TNA
This was surprisingly good, not in a wrestling sort of way but in a super spotty fun sort of way. Daniels and Ki looked really good in this match and Sabin looked great because he was able just to concentrate on hitting spots and didn't have to worry about putting an entire match together. Good stuff.
"Spyder" Nate Webb vs Mark Wolf vs Jimmy Jacobs- IWA MS- 7/31/04
This was a fun little opener even though I'm not really digging Jacobs wrestling in his pajamas.
AJ Styles vs Delirious- IWA MS-7/31/04
I liked this alot. Probably more than AJ vs. Sydel (probably due to the fact that I like Delirious more than Sydel). This wasn't a great match by any means I just liked how it flowed and enjoyed watching AJ work Delirious. Good stuff.

Ultimate X2: Low-Ki vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Sabin vs. Michael Shane- NWA-TNA I wasn't a huge fan of this personally. It just really annoyed me how much they used the chair and other methods of trying to reach the belt. I don't know, I only watched it once, but I remember based on watching each match the first time, I liked Ultimate X 1 better. Yeah....that's gonna take some getting used to if he sticks with that gimmick. I am unaware of this Sydel character you speak of.

I wasn't a huge fan of this personally. It just really annoyed me how much they used the chair and other methods of trying to reach the belt. I don't know, I only watched it once, but I remember based on watching each match the first time, I liked Ultimate X 1 better. I never saw Ultimate X1 so I didn't have a point of reference. Matt Sydal vs. CM Punk- IWA MS-7/31/04This match was decent but really showed how young Sydal is. Sydal blew a couple of spots and despite good selling of the leg towards the end of the match he started busting out flippy moves and moves where he used his legs as offensive weapons (which didn't make any sense). Match would have benefited from being 5 minutes shorter. Sabu vs. Danny Daniels vs. Kid Kash- IWA MS-7/31/04This wasn't just bad it was REALLY BAD. Bryan Danielson vs. Aric Cannon- IWA MS- 7/31/04This was real good, I liked it a lot. Danielson once again shows in this match why he is one of the best in the world. Everything he does is just so smooth and he hits everything just so perfectly. Cannon is WAY out of Danielson's league but still managed to keep up and look pretty good in the process. This match just goes to show how much character Danielson has as he jobbed to a low-level indy guy in this match during a time when high-end indy stars who regularly tour Japan balk at doing jobs for other high-end indy stars. Danielson could rest on his New Japan criteria but instead he is out in the indys busting his ass and putting over marginal talent like Aric Cannon and up-and-comers like Austin Aries. Kudos. Also, wanted to add that I am digging Jim Fannin's heel announcer bit to Prazak's face.

So Kev, I'm gonna pose you the same question I posed at young Voltage... how was Arik Cannon vs. Bryan Danielson?
In the immortal words of Stevie Ray, "Suckas gotsta know!"
EDIT: HA! You edited your last post and put your thoughts in before I could post this. You, sir, are a tricky Agent Kev. ;D Thanks for posting that.

EDIT: HA! You edited your last post and put your thoughts in before I could post this. You, sir, are a tricky Agent Kev. ;D LOL~! I was hoping you would notice that. I just keep editing the thread as I watch matches until someone replies to one of them ;D I was real pleased with the match but really don't see what everyone sees in Cannon. He's is OK but nothing special. He needs to loose about 25 pounds, get new gear and keep working with Chris Hero for about another year. So far from this show I have really enjoyed AJ/Delirous and Cannon/Danielson and Punk/Sydal was OK. Still have to watch Petey vs. Shelley.

I'm interested to see your Petey/Shelley opinion. I have a feeling you'll really like it, or not. Ha, I had to state the obvious, sorry....
